With the Covid-19 situation we already decided in April not to go on vacation this summer, so I spend our "vacation budget" on reviving an old hobby...

I finally had my old Squier Stratocaster checked and fixed, got a new amp (Boss Katana 50Mk II), and bought myself a Martin D-X2E Sunburst.

Here's a pic of my gear:

And since I've been enjoying my new Martin that much, I got myself a Martin LX1 as well (a travel guitar that I can take with me when we go hiking or camping this summer).

Here are some pics of my Little Martin:

More pics will follow, but just don't expect any new tools in the near future  ;).

Thanks my friend  :salute:.

My interest in obtaining new tools had worn off lately, so picking up the guitar seemed like a good idea...

So much for not picking up new tools...  ::)

In my defence, it isn't new... well it is NIB, but it was made 10 years ago... And the words "no longer in production" don't help either...

Oh well, enough excuses.

After a terrible Friday that ended with my wife driving me to the ER, I spend most of my Saterday recovering from the heavy painkillers they gave me.

And it was only in the early evening on Saterday that I found the energy to go out for a very short hike (only 1 km or so), but enough to clear my head a bit and get some very needed fresh air.

I did bring some tools with me hoping I could take some pics.  All these pics are taken on the same location (where I was able to sit down while taking them), so my apologies if they all look the same.

Well, here they are...

First my Free P4 and T4:

My trusty BO Charge + was on my belt as always, so I had to take some pics of it as well:

And finally, my Gerber CenterDrive:
