I think my Micra beats minichamp in terms of functionality and performance.

MiniChamp Alox

-Smaller (less bulk with other keychain tools)
-Lighter (less weight weighing down my pocket and ignition)
-3D phillips (I find myself running into small phillips the most out of all my screw encounters)
-Package opener (this tool is great for opening boxes and to save all the plastic gunk from sticking and dulling the blades)
-Extra blade (I love having 2 blades! Different tasks for each blade. Clean vs dirty. Hard use vs reserved light duty.)
-Outside opening tools (A small keychain mt is for small on the go tasks when you don't have access to better tools. I find myself wanting quick access. It's all about convenience.)

Micra

-Bigger & stronger scissors (Sweet, but one winning feature can't top all the extras from the MiniChamp, and the MiniChamp's scissors are the standard 58mm scissors. We all know they're great.)
-Better flat drivers (The Micra has better flat drivers than the MiniChamp. Flat drivers aren't that big of a deal to me. MiniChamp still has two good flat drivers.)

The Micra's scissors and flatheads are great, but the situations that their extra strength is needed is a situation where my odds of already having a better tool are higher. I dont run into lots of heavy duty screws or scissor needs when I'm out and about with friends for example. I run into smaller chores more suited for the MiniChamp in those situations! I'm more likely to run into heavy duty flathead screws and scissor needs (Micra's specialty) more often at home or work where I will have bigger better tools anyways!

Not really any cons with the MiniChamp.
Big cons with the Micra. Blade is chisel ground. Blade is blocked by handle. Tweezers are booty. Tools are on the inside.

I've got a micra on the way, I'm hoping it will be a good little tool.

Te only thing I don't like about the Micra is the tweezers. Otherwise, it's an incredible tool, and one of my two favorite keychain size starter tools, along with the Vic Classic.

Just received it today. I'm pretty impressed it seems like a great little tool. Tight and sharp out of the box.

you would love it. I switch my main MT from day to day, but the Micra is always part of my EDC.

Got two silver Micras today - one or me, one for the wife.  The alox classic will get a rest for a while.
