One of the worst things about cycling after dark is your not being very visable side on

That's a cool idea.I've also thought laying my hands on some Scotchlite to cut into strips and applying to a couple bikes

A strobe light is also a good idea for night riding. Nothing catches the eye light a flashing light (or a naked lady!).

The down low glow looks like a great idea. It is a shame they can't execute the design for less than $140!

I know it is scary expensive, but hopefully it'll come down in price once it has some competition

couldn't you get some of those snap glow lights like they use in the military and velcro to your bike? I've seen the 8 hour glow sticks at Lowes for a couple of bucks.

I try not to ride at night here due to drunk rednecks and hydrophobeid possums.
