I used MySpace extensively from 2001ish (I think, date is approximate) to 2005, at least. Met my wife on it, but didn't use it that much after the fact. I also had a Facebook account from 2006 until 2010 or so, but was never terribly active. I burned out on the social networking sites, and thus closed one account, then the other. I haven't had an account for either site in a little over four years, and haven't looked back.

Forums, well that's a different story hehe

Never had a facebook account and don't plan on ever getting one.  I'm not saying that I will absolutely positively never get one, but I just can't think of a good reason to - I already have enough foolishness and stupidity to deal with without going and looking for more on the Internet.  I'm not saying facebook is ALL bad, and it might be a wee bit useful, but I digress.  Not dissing any of y'all that use it, it just ain't for me.  Ok, I'm done :)

Forums are way better than Facebook in my opinion, and though I have and use Facebook, it's mostly for family and friends stuff with pretty tight privacy settings.

No problem.  Seems like the FB page is not really popular with forum members, although it seems to have its own following.

One of them things that if I have to explain it aint so funny. Was a reference to the movie Austin Powers where the guy says "Tight like a tiger" but with a strange accent. Was directed at your tight privacy settings.

Unfortunately it does from time to time.  Not as much as it did with the last server company we had, but the less said about this smurfholes the better.

Fb page seems to be a lot more photos and a lot less action. Totally okay with that though, it's nice to scroll through EDC'S now and then.
