I tested with a private tab in Firefox on Android. I came straight into the mobile version of the forum, but when I clicked the link for the full version, which I prefer... There we go again, first full nag screen, then a nag bar.

How about now?

it's simple, don't use it if you don't want to.

Not everyone wants to be on the member map either, no one is forcing you to use it.

The ads are targeted.  Google AdSense uses your own browser history to find ads that are relevant to you.  If you are seeing ads on your screen, it's because you (or someone on your computer) were looking at or shopping for something similar.  We all see different ads based on our browser history.  Clear your browser history, cookies and cache and you will see very different ads.

I would like the "Like" button more if it was up next to the "Quote" button. It's kinda in your face where it is.

I would personally like if the quote button by default did not include pictures. I don't like scrolling past the same pictures over and over again for single line comments which often happens if someone posts great pics.

I remove lots of photos and text when quoting if it's not important.

In part I agree, yet there's more to it than the button, and admins and moderators have a lot more buttons in that area, there simply isn't space for it there... plus when something has a like it has more than just the like button.
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

How about dropping the message icon and putting the like button there instead? Safe distance from the report links and such, and I rarely see anybody actually use the message icon.

Still no fan of the like button, but that way it eats less vertical space. :)

Maybe it is available, but I would like a way to minimise/hide all the quotes people make of each other. In some threads you just have people quoting the same thing, from the previous person post after post, which fills the page without really adding that much to the thread making it difficult to read on smaller screens.

You can add a style-sheet to the website and simply hide it:

Hide all quotes:
.postarea .quoteheader, .postarea blockquote { display: none; }

Or just quotes inside quotes:
.postarea blockquote .quoteheader, .postarea blockquote blockquote { display: none; }

Where do I add this?  Do I have to edit the actual programming of the page?

What browser are you using?

Chrome there is an extension "Stylebot", FF has the "Stylish" Add-On.
After that its pretty straight forward, you add the code from above to your custom MT.O stylesheet and you are good.

Oh and its only cosmetic, nothing can break!

1) Install the Extension "Stylebot"
2) Probably have to close and re-open Chrome
3) go to from.multitool.org
4) top right, next to the options you should have an icon that simply says CSS, click on it and choose "open stylebot"
5) In the panel that opens, at the bottom there is a button saying "Edit CSS", click on it
6) Insert code, then save
7) Close stylebot (X in the top right corner)

Green means there is a stylesheet for this page :tu:

Working on an extensive stylesheet to optimize for FF on Android.
