according to the video it's made of 17-4 stainless steel...

(from the website of a leading stainless steels supplier)
"17-4 PH Stainless Steel is a precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel. Typical usage is seen in applications requiring high strength and a modest level of corrosion resistance."

With it wrapped around sweaty wrists, anyone else see another rust-prone LM product about to happen?

I don't "must" have one, but if one is to collect, one must do it properly. Thankfully, it is only with Leatherman do I attempt to collect at least one of everything.

I must admit however, not sure where Leatherman is recently going with their products. I think it is safe to assume that Tim is only a figure head these days and doesn't participate much in product development. If that is the case, not good for Leatherman I am thinking.

Seriously a smurfing sim pick?

And if you call in the next 5 minutes you can have both S/S and DLC versions together for only a low $350!  :tu:

Seriously Leatherman, $200 for a "dork-celet" ?!

I was a little bit interested (strictly for my weird/wacky MT sub-collection you understand  :pok:  ) .........

............... until he mentioned the MSRPs:  $170 for SS and $200 for black DLC !!!!!   :o  :o  :o  :o

I think I might wait for a few years and hope they start to appear for MUCH cheaper prices on evilBay.
