Newest EDC!

Got my newest EDC from Marc today!

He sent it on tuesday and I got it on friday, gotta be a record for canadian postal office!

Been wanting one for some time now but the 440a steel kept me away, well now comes the D2 composite blade so I pulled the trigger finally. Very fun little knife, I can't stop flicking it.

But I guess this would mean I would use my SAK a lot more now in public, last thing I need is some dweeb goes "ON NOSE, HE'S GOT AN AUTOMATIC KNIFE!!!111", then some RCMP comes "fear not, I'll TASER him"... (okay you probably won't get the second part if you are not canadian, basically the royal canadian mounted police are getting slammed recently for using taser on people when completely not necessary, and in at least one case killed the subject)

Anyway, highly recommanded, if you are still allowed to have one.

that simple.sleek design is very nice.is that pattern on blade,from another material or is it painted/etched or what?

Top is sandvic 13c26 and bottom is CPM D2. I can actually see the copper line in between used to weld the two together, but probably not visible on photo.

Congrats on your aquisition, jzmtl - beautiful knife.

If Marc is selling Kershaws now, then why aren't they listed on his website?

Marc can often get other things that aren't listed on his site. If you are ever wanting anything, it is always worth shooting him a PM to see if he can help.

In case you ever think you might have a problem importing any assisted opener knives, let me know. Somewhere around here I have a document from Canada Customs explaining that Kershaw knives are NOT automatics and so are legal in Canada. Usually when I buy one from the US I send along that letter and have the sender print it out and include it with the package.

Now all I need is to find a Customs agent that can read and we're set...
