As the two bladed 93mm alox Vic holds the Most Favored SAK status with me, Syph was kind enough to do a swap for me, robbing the pen blade from a new Settler I had in reserve, and replacing the never used by me can opener into this red alox advertising Pioneer I obtained off the evil empire auction site.
Anyway - Syph's usual great work created a much more versatile model for me, and I think has a nice look to it. He also installed his custom brass liners as well. Looks purty.
The thing with these is, from what myself and Syph have gathered, is the slightly thicker pen that works so well for this operation is only found on the Settler model. Which is getting near impossible to track down, particularly new.
And SAK Guy has the only factory red alox Electrician I think I've seen. And apparently he won't mail it to me either.
Since alox seems to be trading on the commodities market with gold & silver now, this alox addiction is really getting expensive.
