@ JB - Sorry to hear that - Nasty folk - And what a loss for our community  :(
- I hope some of it can be restored in the fulness of time.
Trawling backwards - Looks like I missed a few good posts   :twak:  :D
eg....
A little unusual this one. I think all advert models are unusual, but that's just me.  :P
A Standard dated between '91-'01 with inlay for Castolin Eutectic - a Swiss founded high tech welding/coating company.
But the Vic shield inlay is vertical to the length of the knife. I don't collect advert models, but this is a new one to me.  :)

Wow - A sideways Vic shield - Never seen that before - Surprised Vic allowed it!!

Here's a Tourist with an unusual cross. Scanmatic is a Norwegian electronics firm.

Love the way they turned the Swiss Cross into electronic circuitry - Brilliant
A very, very clever combination of the advertiser and manufacturer images
- Again surprised by the image - I thought the Swiss government copyrighted/protected that square cross!

Oh, you're just being grumpy....

But yes, this thread is "really" for the "unusual/uncommon/discontinued models" (quote from the OP)

So, here is one of my favorite "old and interesting" SAK's

84mm version of Accountant with LNF and scissors  is about the best description I have found.

Nice.  I don't recall seeing 4 rivets in that pattern before.
