My lucky day, a Duro for 11.

How’s the bezel on your Duro? Had one that was almost impossible to spin.

For that price I would be willing to try and pick up a better specimen.

21 years I was in the Army and for most of it a G Shock 6600 was on my wrist.

Just got it’s new and improved brother the 6900-1 with Atomic Time and Solar.

Nice watch Harley.  I usually stuck to Timex Ironman watches, but I know G-Shock have always had the reputation of being durable even in the toughest conditions.

Now that I like, number markers for hours vs just dots and ones you can actually read clearly, plus numbers for minute, the 24hr time I don’t need but I could live with, but that’s nice!

G'Day,

Got my third bronzo yesterday, a SteelDive Bronze Tuna. A "homage" to the Seiko original diver that has a cult following on a lot of watch forums. I have been wanting one of these for a while and when they dropped the price, I jumped on it.

Seiko internals, sapphire crystal and a full bronze case all for under US$250. After two days it has gained 12 seconds, which is pretty good. The movement will still settle in and I hope it stays as good as this. I can live with around 10secs per day on an auto. The patina has already stated which is what attracted me to bronze watches originally. I don't like forcing a patina and will wear it daily for a few weeks to see how it ages naturally.

Enjoy the pics

Pete

This one isn't mine, I wore it once, it goes in the safe to be babied by me until my son is old enough to not destroy it.

It's a CWC 2011 RAF pilot/Navigators watch. Periodically, they sell watches from their vault. Normally, the vault watches are one—off or ex demonstrator watches.

As this one is over 10 years old, the tritium lume is almost dead.

Thanks, I think birth year watches are cool, unfortunately I was born in 1970 and there wasn't a lot of cool around then!
