First off this is not a historic fight IMO and it's getting a bit annoying to read/hear some say it is.  This should have happened a long time ago regardless of why it didn't this seem anticlimactic at best.

I know we all wanted and I stress wanted to see this in or about 09' but I could really careless now.  I know all my pinoy friends want to see Manny destroy Mayweather but that's not happening.  Mayweather is just to smart and his speed and conditioning will out class Manny.  I see Manny taking it to him like he does and Mayweather survivng the initial onslaught.  Unless Mayweather gets tagged by Manny's with his ability to come in at the right angle Mayweather takes a beating but wins by decision.

Yeah I know, I know,  I have too many Filipino friends that are not happy with me right now.  I could really careless honestly who wins but having watched boxing all my life I just dont see how Manny pulls it off with Mayweathers conditioning and timing.

I'm not going to watch the fight but Manny seems more likable than Floyd..
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Mayweather has spent all his time talking the money, I couldn't give a smurf. I would love to see him KO'd, but I wont give him any of my money.

Yes Kirky I am having a bad day today as well!  :twak:

Not a big Mayweather fan, and while I think he'll probably win, I would much rather see Manny come out on top.  I like him a lot better for a variety of reasons.

I don't pay for fights, especially not boxing.  Years ago I was all pumped for the Tyson/Spinx fight, and I waited up until 2am to watch it live.  Six seconds and one punch later it was over and I felt as if I had been cheated horribly.  Lesson learned.  I think the only one who felt worse than I did after that fight was Spinx.

Well they will be broadcasting it free of charge here at 3am but I'm not staying up to watch it. :P

Boxing lost its charm long ago for me, now it's actually boring.

I think in particular this fight is meh.  I'd also agree with fighting in general it's all gone to poo. Too much politics and smurf for real fights to happen.

Mayweather has a history of beating up women in his personal life so I want the other guy to win.

Well, Manny lost on points to Floyd. But he gave a good fight.
Next time, Manny, next time!

As expected now I can go back to not thinking about Floyd.  Manny as always was a gracious opponent he'll take this loss and all the money he earned and not think twice about it.

I don't mind watching the lesser guys in boxing matches. They are still hungry and have that humble drive. The bigger they get, it seems the more talking and politics come into play..

I didn't want to be a conspiracy theorist but.................... I had/have a question about the legitimacy of the so called fight?  Seems all the grips that prevented the fight in the first place were the same things that were agreed to in this so called fight.

Could it be a "staged" fight?  Both made a healthy sum of money to slap each other around for 12 rounds.
