EDC mod SAK - Yeoman
on: May 01, 2015, 03:52:54 PM
Another advantage (other than being less expensive) of creating mods from used knives is that I'm not hesitant to carry and use them.  If I made them from new knives, they would probably be left at home.  Here is my custom Yeoman.  Now I'm wondering if I need to carry my MiniChamp, if I have a pen in my Yeoman.

Will trade items for new/used Cadet Alox knives for mod projects.

I was a little concerned about seeing light coming through between the layers, but when I compare it to a new knife, it's not that much different.  I didn't notice light coming through my old Champion before I took it apart.  But that may have been due to three decades of pocket lint.  :o

The springs are a little thinner than the tools which is good so they don't catch on the liners.  ;)

Absolutely, no doubt about that. MiniChamp has never ever leave the keys alone :D

The Yeoman is my favorite SAK.  Which is exactly why they don't make them anymore!  All the flavor of the Explorer Plus, but in 3 layers.

Yeoman is also my favorite tool set. So much utility in only three layers.
