Need opinions quickly: Trip to Oxford
on: May 13, 2015, 12:29:01 AM
Ok,so I'm grabbing a lift up to Oxford in the morning, coming back tomorrow evening. It's only the second I've been there, but the first with any freedom of movement.

I've kind of got a plan but, anyone that's been there,or lives there, what's your choices on what to see? Where's good for lunch and a pint?

I remember enjoying the Ashmolean museum, though I think it's been renovated since I was there.

I'd not specifically make a trip to Cambridge to go there, but if you find yourself there again I'd definitely make time to visit the Polar Museum. http://www.spri.cam.ac.uk/museum/

Pitt Rivers museum is amazing - loads of stuff that may pique your interest.

Ashmolean is also v good

Other than that, walk around and soak in the ambience.

Best of luck!

You'd never guess how I read that museum name...
