Pocketwrench II vs. chinese EDC knockoff

Is it worth the extra bucks to get the 'real' Pocketwrench II or is the chinese EDC version on ebay pretty much the same? They look the same but I know you usually get what you pay for. thanks......tony

It's a hit and miss, some are ok, some are bad.

I have the PocketWrench 2, as well as a few of the EDCGear copies. The PW2 has better fit and finish, but they both work. The PW2 has sharper teeth, but again, they both work. I haven't had rust issues with any of the copies or the original.

After about three months of constant use, the copy is holding up remarkably well. To be honest, I think the copy is a better value. I hate saying that.

The replica PWIIs are actually much better than one would think, at least I got pleasantly surprised by them.

It's $3.50 piece of S/S...get it, mod it, make it "yours" and love it...
