Sorry!  I didn't mean to kill the party...especially when you know how much I enjoy lawyers in general!   :ahhh    :ahhh

Sooo.... guys... this thread reminded me... does anyone know a link where I could download Bear Grylls Priorities of Survival Pocket Guide? Strictly a paid copy to be used as back-up for mine, please (I am Romanian after all)  ::)
Feel free to send me PMs

No, but will a photo suffice?

Yap for those  :D
Thanks but photos aren't good enough for what wanted.
I meant to print a few of these and shove one in each useful place I could think of: car, backpack, wallet, bob, travel kit, wife's backpack, baby's crib etc.
The helicopter crash this winter in the news made me a tad paranoid. I think I mentioned it to you guys: 4 paramedics fell with a helicopter in the mountains here. Their phones were working and noone was severely injured after the crash, but rescuers couldn't find them in time and they were only found 2 days later with 3 of them already frozen to death... and they had landed only 5 Km away from a small village and 35 Km from a 500.000 people city...
After that I started carrying flint with me as well as a powerbank and a Altoids tin...

I know there is a high-res scan floating around the Internet but couldn't find it anywhere that doesn't require paid registration...

PS: I asked a mate who has a "wonderful" BG Scout Knife. I'll see if i can't get a decent scan here and share it with you.

I have a Collins SAS Survival Guide.

I am not commenting either way on the information contained within, but, if you are into that sort of thing - it is a physically compact and relatively durable little book.

I expect it is quite cheap and available most places.

Yes, I have one of those somewhere also. A lot better than what BG gives you. Mind you, what BG gives you is a lot better than what Camillus gives you with the Les Stroud knives.

The one by John 'Lofty' Wiseman? :2tu:

I have several of those...gave one to my daughter. Easy to read, straight forward with lots of illustrations.

That leaflet is very complete!!!  :tu: But it does lack crucial stuff the Wiseman book has...like making field expedient bows/arrows so you can accidentally shoot the neighbors dog/window/SUV etc......  ;)   :D
