I was going to mention that "they" also offer these type of multipurpose pocket dangler dealies.
They have ones with different functions like a bottle opener, hex wrench, etc. If you get the Ti anodized one like mine shown on the red Pioneer, it's pretty inconspicuous on your pocket. And the weight of your knife is enough to hold it in your pocket. In this pic it still has the clip on it but it's shorter if you use just the snap ring by itself. Little less convenient though for swapping around from knife to knife if needs be. Of course there are smaller snaps out there too.
It does allow your knife to hang along the edge of your pocket and keep it from getting caught up in your car keys or whatever.
The other pic is one I just snagged off the Internet to show a similar type one in your pocket so you get the idea of how it'd look.
Just a thought. On the rare occasion I do have a thought, I like to write it down, hence this post.
