Why did I just see this thread? I reckon it's awesome that Victorinox are seeing what we want and making it available and backed up with Warranty. It's a shame other manufacturers aren't doing the same... I can't wait!

That's so funny - I think we (ie MTo) usually know a lot more about what is going on in the MT world than most retailers - And it seems even Vic's own retailers in this case  :whistle:

That kinda makes sense though. We are here because we are obsessed with SAKs and MTs. Most employees in any retail store are just there because it's a job. They usually know more about the products they sell than the general population out of necessity and proximity to the products, but that is a poor substitute for passion.

Is there any more 'insider info' on this?

Any pics available? Any design specifics - anything being dropped to accommodate this? Release date? Expected price?

I'd love scissors on a pioneer or farmer so can't wait - just hope I will be able to afford when the time comes.  :-\

I contacted my prefered dealer of trust for some informations about the Walker and the
scissor alox. Release date for the Walker (here in Europe) late autum, for the alox ... no
date until now.
Damn I have to buy a blue 2015 alox to cure my turkey  :ahhh
