Hmm, I've never heard of that brand.
By the way, I can light them with my thumb nail!
"Scottish Bluebell" has to be the most common match brand here in Scotland. After doing a bit of Googling I found that they are made by the same folks who produce the Swan Vesta brand, a company called Swedish Match. Here in Scotland the perception is that "strike anywhere" are proper matches and the "box only" are cheap and nasty.
It seems a bit strange you having issues getting strike anywhere matches. Over here I can walk into any corner shop or supermarket and buy a box Strike on the box (yes we call them safety matches too) are common as well but you usually have a choice. I prefer the strike anywhere ones as they don't tend to "spit" like the safety matches.Neil
I needed to show the cashier my ID to purchase a small bottle of lighter fluid ...BUT I can fill up a 5 gallon container of GASOLINE at any gas station with no problem...go figure!
I went to my local Army Barracks store, I bought quite a few things. one of the things I bought, was Diamond "strike anywhere matches". They are SO cool! Does anyone else use them? You really can't find them anywhere nowadays!
