Time Lord level 3 request.
on: July 08, 2015, 12:45:11 AM
so,  I looked around, and dug out my other watches

I have a hard time throwing any watch away, no matter how cheap.  so here you can see my good watches,  and my,  well, other watches.

the left 4 are my G-Shocks  (Great Watches)
Next is my Casio Altimeter/Barometer/Thermometer  (was nice,  but week two, I scratched the face)  (any advice on trying to buff it out)
then I have an Armitron (My Wife's idea of a nice watch) needs a battery
on the far right is my binary watch   :D
in the center are two old watches that still have the original battery, (surprises me) and I need new bands,  but since I will not wear them, I see the cost a waste of money

I tend to wear the Rangeman 98% of the time, with the other 2% shared between the watches on each side of it.
If I can help, let me know

Nice ones.
The Casio SGW face can most likely be restored easily, if the scratches are not too deep, any cellphpne display polish will do, even car polish for old and weathered paint will work fine. If the scratches are deep, wet sanding (up to 1500/2000) and a following polish will do.
If you can remove the bezel, it will be easier and/or can be done on a poilshing wheel - Low pressure!

If you tell me the lug width (I guess 18 mm?!)  I´ll gladly send you some (aftermarket) straps for those Casios. If you don´t wear them, give them away to someone who will, maybe?

thanks,  and I think you should try them,  though you might end up needing more watch boxes,  maybe in the 200+ capacity variety.

When I gathered all of mine, I was shocked to be honest at how many I have managed to accrue over the years.

me too,  even though it is less than a dozen.

I appreciate nice dress watches,  but they are not what excites me in a watch.  I like features such as a timer (which I use 2 or 3 times a day)

however,  the best "dressy Looking" "feature rich" watch for me would be this one
