Great Rivalries
on: August 07, 2008, 07:48:50 PM
As I laid awake last night I was thinking about all the great rivalries we've had over time :)

So what rivalries really caught your imagination ???

Indian vs Harley Davidson, Probably Indian as they were the more inovitive company :)

Blur vs Oasis, No bloody contest, Oasis all the way, who in there right mind votes for posh boys :D

9mm vs 45acp this one's easy, 45acp!

Vespa vs Lambretta, Got to be the Vespa, total reliability, faster on a smaller engine, and plenty of curve's :)

Triumph vs Norton, I'd plump for the Norton, I'd sooner have handling over power anyday :)

Wham vs Duran Duran, come on got to be Simon and the lads :)

Valention Rossi vs Max Biaggi, Vale all the way, the boy's a god on a motorcycle :o

What about you guys ???

Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

Indian vs Harley Davidson, Probably Indian as they were the more inovitive company :)

Leatherman vs Victorinox. Probably Leatherman as they were the more inovative company. :)

:pok:

Sorry, I just had to throw that in there... :D

Anyhow, right now I'm in bit of a quandry over "Zippo vs. Bic." :P
Zippos- classy and fun.
Bic- cheap, reliable, and convenient to carry.
I don't know what to think. :ahhh  ::)

folding stock sniper dragunov?  No sniper in his/her right mind has a folding stock let alone a semi-auto (very poor bolt lock-up) but then again its Russian.

We could spend all day talking about NFL rivalries. Chiefs VS Raiders Go Chiefs  And between the Packers and Bears I gotta take "Da Bears"

And in college rivalries we could talk for a month.

I love the Hemi but I gotta go with the Ford 427 SOHC "Cammer" if we're talking 60's era motors. I also love the 1964 Ford Thunderbolt.

But as I said though, I do love the Hemi, it's awful hard to NOT love this

cobra jets are awesome.

one guy here has this  ´70(im not sure,it might be 71 too) ranchero with 429 police interceptor,b&w 4 speed stick and some toploader at the rear.its a nice way to haul your small packages id say.and its been built like that in factory.

although im very green minded i find old odd muscle cars intresting.id spend my money on cars like that even without so much kick, rather than these plastic unsafe gadget mobiles with 6 screens and ice cube machines.even the safety stuff in modern cars are so lame.i would say that good old 4-6 point roll cage would be cheaper to manurfacture than some airbags and s--t.if u truck kisses your japanese gadgetmobile 20 miles per hour, rollcage would be better than some bouncing bumpers;).and why dont they install bucket seats anymore :D

grin.

This one had the speed odometer that was not a needle but a line that changed color the faster you went. It had a Locker rear end in it. the car was pretty rusted out. my Pops bought it for the engine. I am 38 now. It had studded snows on it, the Town and Country's. If I got a little crazy with the cheese whiz I could spin them  off the rims.

from almost all muscle cars(except mk 1 kr mustangs) id choose these,if i cant get some odd 4 dour sleeper without any un necessary BS and 426/454/427/428/429/ unde hood.stationwagon would be even better.

and if id had to choose small car it would be this beauty dating back to 1972 :D
