I read that the XAVT comes with more bits, some of which are metric hex. I could really use those.

Can someone give me an online source?

If the base is a standard hex or octagonal one like on most interchangeable bit drivers, you might just try a local hardware or someplace like Lowe's or Home Depot. Just a thought. Or maybe an auto supply store.

They are a 4mm hex drive, which is widely available - usually in "precision" screwdriver bit sets - but all the ones I've seen lack the ball-bearing retention system that the Victorinox bits have. They're invariably designed for a magnetic bit holder.

Pizzini offers quick, reliable service in my experience though shipping is somewhat high - I tricked myself into ordering by ordering more stuff, so shipping per item would be less...  :D

Woo, 15 Euro minimum order, then 25 Euro shipping charge. $47 for a couple of hex bits.

I can't do it.

I most likely go to Ibach tomorrow, so I could pick some up for you.

Price is roughly 4$ a piece and shipping would be another 4$*. That said, PM me if you are interested and don't forget to specify which bits you want.

*unless you order many, then it might go up to 7$ or so, depending on the weight. All economy, no insurance.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Thanks Ethereliracer. I was tempted to suggest a combined order from Pizzini and then forwarding the bits. Guess I could avoid this for now...It´s always bad for the wallet, but it´s nice to dress up SAKs in new scales.
