I actually have four of them, too lazy to bring them all out.
And a small pile of Mauser rifles, two Madsen LMG and two ZB-26, since this is not firearms related forum so I am going to skip them.

Nice Mercators!

Gotta love the black cat. Solid little chunk of steel. It took me some time to appreciate mine, I thought they were ugly and uncomfortable... then I started using one to break down cardboard for recycling. I'm no sharpening pro by any stretch, but I stropped mine (carbon version) and it sliced through cardboard like it was butter. Well, I guess the ergonomics are still a little lacking for me, but you can't argue with that performance. Would probably be good for food prep I imagine, like an Opinel.
May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

The thing about Mercator is how easy it can be carry and still offers a good size blade.
It cuts very well thanks to its blade geometry, an excellent food prep and general purpose knife
