Mini Tool Variances
on: November 03, 2013, 01:51:43 AM
I need a little help from my fellow Leatherman enthusiasts. I've managed to track down three different plier heads on the Mini and I know about the Mini with no markings at all on the sides and the US PAT PEND marked Mini.

Does anyone know about any other differences that I need to be on the lookout for?

Thanks!

Please write the date of manufacture for each Tula (if available). To specify the information in the review.

A few differences between the one of the very first Mini Tools and one near the end of production with a DOM of 0102.

I had to bring this thread back because of the pics and your notice of the different variations :tu: I love to see how the  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh !!!MINI!!! :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh evolved over the years :D It is a shame that they have never tried to update this tool and add bit drivers or something else to make it more versatile :-\

Sooooo jealous!
I've been looking for a Mini for months, but no luck.
Usually it doesn't ship to Australia, and other times the shipping fees are too much.
I'll probably give in and get one, though.

Thanks for the insight on the Mini.

I was on to shoot one at the 'bay some months ago. But the price finally went in heights I didn´t want to pay for it. But if I ever get the chance to get one for a nice price I gonna pull the trigger.

Still curious if there will ever be a new run of these little handy tools.
