After 'Doughnut 2016' Smallbacca thinks we all need to get a little trimmer. Hence 'Push ups in the bilge before Cthoffee break'. If you don't complete the required 3 push ups she'll rip your arms off. I've tried to explain that doing push ups with no arms is tremendously taxing, but it's nigh on impossible to reason with a tiny Wookiee.

Smallbacca lets R2 off the push ups because R2 didn't indulge in 'Doughnut 2016'. And you can't get R2 to do anything R2 doesn't want to do.
