I think the saw is there, just not fanned out. Looks like three layers, no? You can see the tip of the saw poking out.

First layer (going by the second pic) is the cap lifter. (You can't see the spring). Then the liner lock. Then the blade backspring. Then the saw backspring.Edit: goddarnit, I have the OHT out for two seconds and already I nipped my finger on the blade. Now I remember why this lives in its box.
My bad- your picture with the circle wasn't there, I was looking at the lock, totally missed that nub! You are correct
