Anyone going out tonight to see or photograph the big red moon?  Think i'll try my amateurish hand at capturing it on camera.

i had to google orb weaver...i'd stay inside too. Looks like we have too much cloud cover tonight. Just as well as my photographic abilities suck.

Luckily, it rose right in front of the porch so I had a great view and didn't have run the gauntlet of spider webs!  Those orb weavers are big suckers. Used my Nikon binos and had great views.  :tu:

We went back out and couldn't find it, then we noticed it was playing hide and seek! It turned too cloudy to even see it.. But we got a few crappy pics earlier.

I went out and saw it with my daughter.  It was gorgeous and thankfully we had very clear skies to view it.  I didn't snap any pic tho.

I didn't catch the eclipse, the need to sleep but this morning at 7 am when I was on my way to work the big lady was still "up there" big and beautiful, just wow !

Thanks, I was surprised it actually worked, also tried to stick my cellphone on binoculars and that might've worked too if I could brace it steady enough.  :D
