So nice they made me check the local prices......which I swore I would never again do.

You guys take better photos than the manufacturers' marketing team!

I've been drooling over the Griptilians for years and have somehow never pulled the trigger on one.

Sweet knife!

Hate to derail,

But this is so true.

Awhile back leatherman "borrowed" a picture of a modded leatherman and posted it on Facebook.

Not realizing it was modded, the comments quickly filled with "did it change?!?!"

I can't remember if there was a thread or not on it.

Well there are a number of different blades and steels you can get on a Grip through Benchmades custom shop.

Nope, I just dont get along with them.  Build quaily is fine, but I just cant stand the blade and handle geometry.  I like the blade and handle to more or less be inline, but spydercos are very blade forward kukri style.

I snapped a pic of the last spyderco I tried next to my sog to illustrate.

Can't stand the hole either.

Or the angle. I don't mind a little but The last time I used a spyderco I over cut the crap out of some rope. Never used one again.

I used a friend's Tenacious to trim some freezer burn off a huge fish fillet, did the cutting, and by he time I was rinsing it under the tap I knew I would own several Spydercos some day.

I've just barely dipped my toe in the world of folders, but no doubt the axis lock, ball bearing lock.....however it's done or what it's called, my sure favourite.

Great knives guys  :salute: , orange works for knife handles as well as Italian sports cars  :D 8)
