I have been for some time now. In the past it used to be a BO Wave with few extras in a Maxped pouch, but now is this:

That's a beast of a setup babola.

I've seen it a few times in other threads. I too edc a surge. Black for work, and a shiny one for non work. I really prefer the overall size of the tool and especially the pliers.

Yeah...please talk to my lawyer zoidberg...he should put you on the right track  8)

Love it mate, the beam quality and level of craftmanship on this model is way above most in this price bracket. It's also the size and weight I was after. There's been plenty of reviews posted in the past on flashlight forums. Cheers!

Very cool. I bought it being my first true torch and it really has great capability being a 1aa light. I'm also glad I got the cool white instead of the neutral. :tu:

That's not a challenge!
I edc my surge when i know in will do some repairs, heavy duty works and so on.
It always make its little effect when i pick it and begin to sharpen a axe or begin to work when my friends are still thinking: where the f*ck did i put my tools!

It's too big and heavy for my open space office work so i edc a style ps.

See, you got the solution yourself, the challenge is carrying that big lump.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

I have to say I do have some respect for anyone who carries one of these daily - it is a superb tool, but just as large and heavy mine only gets carried when I have a specific need for it...

I'm going to college and walking all over the place but since I purchased my surge I am always carrying it. Before my surge I had a supertool 300 so the weight isn't a big change. I was doing 12 miles a day on average with a supertool 300 at work, so walking a bit less with a surge isn't too different. Personally I have never been tired from carrying the two but I'm sure it could happen if people weren't use to the weight.
First post on the website that helped me choose a surge.
I have a Leatherman surge, rebar, wave, and a super tool 300. I can also solve 3x3x3, 2x2x2, and 2x2x4 rubix cubes.

It's on my bicycle and I ride my bicycle everyday.  Does THAT count as EDC???
