Bridge of Spies

With Tom Hank's new movie, Bridge of Spies, out, does anyone know any details about Francis Gary Power's Wenger that the Soviets dubbed a "Spy Knife"?

That's it.  Thanks for the link!  Do you know what model it is?  I've never owned anything but Victorinox.

At that time Wenger named the knives with numbers/letters, as you can see on this catalogs:

For more info you have to wait let's say jazzbass ... :D

But I can help you in another way: "You absolutely need some Wenger SAK"  >:D

Btw, nowadays that "spy" model would be "Wenger Classic 101", if it had tweezers & toothpick, or "Wenger Viking" (if no T&T).

OK, the flood gates of curiosity have opened now - what else is in that pack?!

The pic is rough, but it sure looks like a set of pliers, lensatic compass, a whole slew of waterproof containers and a bunch of stuff that I can't make out.  I was an Army guy so we didn't have bail out kits but maybe someone else might know.  I'm on the hunt for a Wenger now...I can always tell the wife later!! >:D

Here's another picture of some Powers equipment. Includes a silenced High Standard HD .22 pistol, developed by the OSS back in WWII.

High Standards were quality weapons.  Looks like they planned on everything except bailing out into waiting company.  Thanks for the pic!

It looks like another kind of pocket knife just to the right and down a bit from the SAK. Anyone know what kind of knife that is????
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.
