Day 20 & 21.  Sorry for missing yesterday but I've not been very well (norovirus rather than covid).  So yesterday we got IG-11.  One of the cooler characters from series 1.  Today we get our THIRD weapon rack.  ::)  I've been buying the SW Advent Calendar for quite a few years now and that feels like a first.  Anyway, at least we get something for IG-11 to hold and what is a pretty good representation of Mando's long arm.

Norovirus is a nasty one.  I hope you are feeling better!

The IG88 is very cool too!  I wonder if Djin's rifle is a hint of what's coming next?

Cheers Grant.  The norovirus has been doing the rounds here.  My wife brought it home, my daughter got it, and now it's my turn.  ::)  It's been many long years since I last fell asleep clutching  a washing-up bowl and I hope to never have to do it again.

Day 22.  Baby Yoda (the Child/Grogu) in a festive jumper and scarf.  Comes with a very handy-dandy baby carrier.

Day 23.  Penultimate build for this year and we have an alternative method of transport for little Grogu.  Anyone would think he doesn't have legs.  ::)

Day 24!  It's no great surprise to find Mando behind the last door of the year.  Love the detail on the Beskar armour. It even has the Mudhorn sigil on his pauldron.  8)  Is it a little churlish to wish he came with his jetpack or a shoulder cape?

Overall this has been a very up and down year.  Some excellent vehicles builds and the mini-fig scale speeder being great, but weighed against three weapon racks, two targets, and some very low brick count builds too.

Will build the rest when I return from Spain. Pretty much what I was expecting from box art.

Too many spoilers on the box art for me.  I'm possibly just being a grouch though. ;)

Around Christmas, I was able to buy two sets of Lego 3 in 1 Space Rover Explorer sets. I also went to the Dollar Tree and bought a few cheap base plates and other small packets of bricks/people to make this setting for an empty spot I had in the upstairs games room. 1 set was the Rover, and the other became the base.

I just bought two old sets (35/40 years old). Childhood memories! The car chassis is practically new, I think it was built once, disassembled and put away. No dust, no scratches.

Construction has come to a halt.  Sadly, and for the first time that I can remember, Lego have missed out a piece from the set.  :-\  At least requesting a replacement is a very simple task.  Missing piece aside; this has been a great build and a great value for money set.

I built The Globe a few weeks ago. It's a very nice display piece but the build itself is so tedious. Glad it's finished...

I'd never considered the idea that a Lego set might be tedious to build, but I can why that one could be.
