Well, we got in the missing piece earlier this week and so finally got the McLaren finished off.  First Technic that we've done and I have to say it's been fun and just the right amount of challenging for my daughter (and me!).

Lego 10300 - Back to the Future DeLorean 3 in 1 was released today. Can build all 3 movie versions of the time machine. Lightning hook, Mr Fusion and Vacume Tubes. It shows out of stock now :(

A shame, but hardly surprising I guess.  :-\  Looks like an awesome kit.

Batman’s Tumbler from the Dark Knight trilogy. A Lego knock off bought and built during the lockdown in 2020. Not on par with Lego, just passable. My inquisitiveness and thriftiness got the better of me .

Looks like it would keep you busy a while.

Spotted today while walking around town, in the window of an architect office that usually has architecture kits, and they built a custom town hall (which the office is literally facing)

It is partially built with all the bricks sorted in cups on either side, they must have been missing a piece because I saw an envelope from Lego through the mail slot on the floor at the door.

Kit is up on Lego ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/s/p:783bb99ed379462e9ef25f22c37ca134

Obviously supported! Even has lots of seagulls like most places in town...

Nice  :tu:  I love to go and check out Lego Ideas from time to time and I've bought a few that interest me. I wonder if that clock is a custom piece. Never seen one with white hands before.

Nice, seen it and Mandalorian one several times but not at a price I am comfortable with yet... But I guess I need to pick one up soon before they retire it and the price becomes even more outrageous

kits and plans are just suggestions anyways, doing it your own way is the entire purpose of Lego!

One of these days I need to crack open the Land rover kit...

My grandkids are into LEGOs.  And after seeing my grandson having the full set of these characters, I located these few at a Walmart in bags and grabbed a handful.
This is what I assembled -

Those are great! I fear minifigure collecting is a slippery slope...

No kidding, just returned from 8 yr old grandson’s and after a couple games of checkers this morning, I notice a Lego Character book, on the chair.  And, thought I will be cool and share pictures on my phone of the few muppets I had…

No ooo!   The book I saw was one of several, and then I get invited upstairs and he shared with me a part of his Lego figure world🤪.  Hundreds, maybe a couple thousand.  Harry Potter characters, enough to film a movie, Star Wars guys, and Ewoks and Clones and droids, enough to populate a small world. Then Looney Tunes, ScoopyDoo figures, and Batman various versions, bad guys too.   And then just regular folk.  And that was what was out on display…
Not a slippery slope, a massive sink hole from my view

He knew ivalues, how many duplicates,  rarity, and dates of introduction,’and more.  Quite impressive for a 8 year old.

I took a picture of his Bruce Wayne head on a Batman figure, also, one of my favorites the Tasmania Devil from Looney Tune set.

I thought my MT and knife collecting was obsessive, of maybe my Hot Wheels cars, NOPE. THE BOY HAS A ROOM DEDICATED TO Lego figures

I have one grandson financing college expenses by selling and buying Comic Books, another buying and selling collectable Lego sets and and in collector cards.

And I am really mad now realizing would could have been if my dad had not burned my baseball cards and comic book boxes after I did not move back home after college…
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Those are great! I fear minifigure collecting is a slippery slope...

Every now and then I start looking at eBay for minifigs...

And I quickly stop myself because I wouldn't slip down that slope, I would strap a jet engine to my arse and swan dive down that smurfer.
