Does anyone have any thoughts on a Humvee?

(I know they're cheap, but are they good for the money?)

Sweet knives, but like Mike said I am after OHO.

So far, I am keen on the following;

Cold Steel Lawman,
Cold Steel AK-47,
Extrema Ratio BF2TD (Large),
Benchmades (still looking into those, but like the brand on the whole).
I'm back!!

cs ak47 is a huge knife for its blade size, and very mall ninja one at that.

Then again I don't have any love for cs.  :D

Then it is the Griptillian

Those seem like a damn good buy.  TBH I was kinda staying away from Zytel handles as I (probably incorrectly) assumed that Aluminium and G10 handles would be far stronger.

I don't think it's actually any stronger than offerings from any other company, especially not compare to some kershaw's with 410 stainless steel handles.

Griptilian have half SS liner and endura have full SS liner.

The Griptilian is one of the most popular folders I've read about. The handles (made from what they call Noryl GTX) is really tough
and like the name suggests is very "grippy" and no one I know has ever broken it, not from heat, cold, chemicals or abuse.

You can get it with the hole or the stud, several steels (like 154CM, D2 and more) and a really fun folder to have (the way you can open it) because of the Axis system. You can also get the Mini-Griptilian too, smaller.

One of the BM kings is the 710 but that's probably to big for you lad! :P

bottom is my Grip, top the 710;

This is the Griptilian I have been looking at;

It looks pretty solid and I like the fact that it comes with a lifetime warranty.

I do still keep lingering over those CS's though.

That it is.  :)

It's only downside is the Zytel IMO.  But I'm sure that's because I am stuck in the mindset that Zytel will be weaker for some reason.

All I want is a folder that is as tough as nails, is 3-4" long and that doesn't have a liner lock.  I'm looking for function not appearance.

honestly, it feels cheap, sounds cheap, but it's not! there have been tons of threads about it in BF and others about it.
it is tough, durable, resistant, very "grippy" like the name says.
