Forgot this one....I initially put it away for today for Spartan Saturday, but the Plus scales are hard to beat so it's going along too!

I wonder what the other grocery shoppers thought if my writing instrument?  :D

Well, while Barry "Twosak Shakur" was out shilly shallying with his Spartan, the Compact was getting it done in the garden:

Opening potting soil:

Cutting open bundles of straw:

And pruning tomato plants with the scissors.   :tu:

After a busy morning, union rules allowed for a coffee break:

Day 1 of this mini-challenge is going rather well!   :2tu:

Excellent!  Very funny, too. I'm planning on opening a can of corn for a lunchtime salad later on!    :tu:

( And, unlike Twosak Shakur, I won't cheat and use a Spartan.  ;) )

Twosak strikes!   :D. This knife is such a joy to carry and use.  I was reading the reviews on the Vic website, and I now understand what the excitement is about!  I used the combo tool to remove an old spouting screw on my house.  It actually fit!  This could seriously become my actual everyday carry!

I haven't tested that bottle opener feature yet.....hmmmm......

The Compact's day isn't over yet!

Gave a head of broccoli the "Peacent treatment". A sharp knife is a great tool!   :tu:

Still CompAction saturday!

Compact helped to cut some gorgonzola and meia cura cheese (the last one is a regional cheese)

The cheese was melted with milk cream and put inside a fresh bread (My son call It Dad's bread).

And the Compact helped to open a bottle of wine.

Some latter day Saturday action.  Planted some tomatoes with the help of the Compact, then sliced an orange with the combo tool.  Not quite as good as the regular can opener, but it got the job done.  Finally, finished up with a cigar, cut with the Compact's blade.  Mrs. R got home from surgery two days ago, so the Compact and I are running our wheels off

That's the way guys!  Freezing some strawberries for Mrs. R's smoothies.  Used the Compact to slice off the tops.
