Won this Queen Barlow yesterday. Sellers pic.

Mine's a 1976. Those Queen Barlows are quite lightweight, and carry quite well.

Got this one a while back - Rough Rider micarta work knife. The blade was just over 3" when I got it and poking out the end of the handle slightly so I ground the tip down and now it's UK-friendly.

Best $10 I have spent in a long time, Beavercraft 3" x 9" leather strop with compound. Was able to get my Delica, Rat 2, and Minigrip back to normal paper slicing instead of tearing. I had tried a 600/1000 stone on the Rat 2 and was not impressed with results, but a couple of minutes on the strop and it cuts like brand new. Just applying compound like they show on product page didn't work though, have to heat it up a bit over electric stove or heat gun/hair dryer to get it to melt into the leather.

Frosts by Mora 330 Toeing Knife. I thought it was a bit smaller; closer to around 7" OAL. Er, uh, nope...  330 wasn't a model number, but its size in millimeters. It's huge. I think I flunked metric. The Dexter-Russell Net Knife is also new. Been using it to open my packages and mail, since it's easy to decontaminate; with its Sani-Safe handle and hard plastic sheath.    It was marked down to $10 shipped, and as usual with cheap Moras, I bit quick.

My original plan was for use as a hoof knife, for sheep. But, the blade is heavy, thick, and Mora's tough carbon steel. I read somewhere this was also Triflex laminated steel; but wouldn't it be marked as such?  I've already tested it on some thick pieces of wood, and it hacked them without any trouble.  I need to make a sheath for it. Guess I should order some Kydex and hardware.

Second-hand Kershaw Echelon, it came in very dirty

Cleaned it once, twice (whole disassembled picture is between the two cleaning), then get it back up !
Scrubbing with dish soap wasn't enough to get rid of the dirt on the G10 scales, only Cilit Bang worked...

Very nice hiraethus. I’m fond of this color of the scales, don’t see too many that hue.
