Sounds lovely.  I very much like my MM knife but it took the full quoted time (so not at all late, but also not early).  He really doesn't do a lot of contact either so be assured it's being made, even if he hasn't said so. 😄

My birthday is the middle of June so hopefully it will arrive around that time 🤞

Not so bad , I read stan shaw had a 4 year waiting list by the time he retired  :D

I understood it was relatively small but next to that Cadet … Whoa even smaller than I thought.
BTW neat Thylacine product tag there too!

Yeah, it is smaller IRL than it feels on pictures, the Cadet helps figuring it out.
That pouch is the smaller one of a kit of 3, from the brand Tasmanian Tiger (military brand of Tatonka)

I find it strange that a German company would adopt a uniquely Australian animal as branding for one of its product lines. My perspective is perhaps biased as an Australian.

I've commissioned a custom knife from Arthur Wright.  A Senator frame with oak covers, but with a Wharncliffe blade taken from their "Tackler" knife.  It'll be a while before I get my hands on it mind you.  :D

An errant email ment that I was unaware this knife has been ready for a couple of weeks!  :ahhh Paid for and now winging it's way to me.

It's new knife day.  :woohoo:

Another Senator but with a Wharncliffe (almost) type blade rather than a lambfoot.  I'm not certain it's exactly what I'd call a Wharncliffe but it is exactly what I asked for.  8)  Oak covers set it off very well.

I don't think I'd call that a Wharncliffe, either; more like a modified sheepsfoot profile. Whatever you want to call it, it's a stunner! :2tu:

Yeah, definitely in a grey area between Sheepsfoot and Wharncliffe I'd say.  I do like that it protrudes just enough that I can pinch it open rather than using the nail nick.
