Last year I picked up a Rayovac Indestructible flashlight to throw in the glove box. Went to use it for the first time this evening and the switch was defective, only working occasionally.

Putting the TerraLUX from the emergency kit in the glove box; hope it works when needed. Guess I need to pick up a Fenix; they seem to have a good reputation.

so much for being indestructible
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

That sucks mate.  Check out Thrunite as well as Fenix.  Same quality IMO but sell for a little less over here.

It's way too easy to cheap on Emergency gear.

But on the other hand, you'll never know if you need it!

Well it says "Virtually Indestructible", so in virtual life it's indestructible. In real life, not so much. >:D

I'll second Gareths motion to check out the Thrunite flashlights.

I think you might like this one and it's a good bang for the buck too.

I try to buy the best but it always goes unused...
