Anyone here carry only a fixed blade, and if so, what is it?

Only a fixed blade? Nope. With a Multi Tool? Yep.

I carried a Benchmade 210 for quite a while. Mostly during the summer months. It's a great EDC fixed blade.

Here is a pic of mine, it has since been sold as I just seem to have too many knives all the time.

Oh, that's nice.  :)   Is that the G10 handled version?  I just ordered a 210TK today. I handled the 211 version with the wooden handles the other day. It felt good in my meathooks and I like the blade size. A perfect size for neck or side carry, IMO.

Yeah it's model # BM210GG (Gray G10). You will really like the TK. The CF and Silver G10 is really smooth looking and it cuts great.

Nope, though I have been tempted (I don't really need to, most chores are done well enough with a folder, but still...it'd be nice & manly eh?)

Seems to be a lot of "neck" carry knives out there?
I'm not sure I see the good in this.

(I'm generally distrusting of anything around the neck, & jewellery in general, whatever you gain in ssmurf you lose in potential for mishap)

Once again wikipedia reveals it's wholly suspicious nature:

Quote from: wikipaedia
"A sheath knife is a fixed bladed knife that fits in an either leather or material (nylon, kevlar, leather etc ) sheath for protection of the knife and carrier.

The blades vary in size, shape and construction. They are very cheap they are only 7 dollars"

Most people do spend way too much money on a knife. I've plenty of $4 cheapos that service me fully well. =D

Besides a Gerber Clutch and Vic Tinker, I always carry a dedicated knife.  Usually some type of one-hand-opening folder clipped in my right front pocket.

Lately I've been carrying a CRKT Bear Claw serrated fixed blade - either clipped to the belt or in the back pocket next to the wallet.

When carrying the Bear Claw fixed blade, I don't carry a one-hand-opening folder.
