Mine is a bit further over than that. In fact, it goes over a bit more now I have cleaned it.

I'll take some pics in a bit.

The funny thing about Sebbies lockbars  is they can change a bit with use but go back to a default position when striped and put back together .

The lube I used is quite thin and it spread over the lock bar which may have caused it to go over a little more.

Still, it's maybe at 80% now which is fine.  :)  The lock up is really impressive.

Ben don't worry about the lockup , there was a guy over at bladeforums who used his daily for 12 years and he reckons the lockbar hasn't moved .
   Also don't worry if you grip the knife hard and the lockbar goes over and touches the other side . As long as it doesnt touch when opening .

Ben I wouldnt say that was 80% , more like 60 . Looks perfect to me . Sometimes the pocket clip can effect it . Btw are you keeping the pocket clip ? I don't like the clip and theres no way I'm trusting it to keep the knife safe . Deep pocket carry for me .

That was after I took the blade out again.  It seems to not go over as far now.

I am using the clip and I quite like it.  I wonder if you would feel any different if you tried the small one?

Are you driving Flash mad on purpose?  :D

Yes I think it sets it off really nicely.  :)  The blue seems pretty hard waring too, as considering this has seen quite a bit of use it has not lost much.

Ben I have the same one that you have,and I just looked at your lock picture,and at mine,and they are in the exact same place,I did rub a #2 lead pencil across where the lock slides over,and it worked a lot easier because of the graphite in it works like a lubricant. :salute:

Since taking that picture, I noticed that my pocket clip was too tight and that the tension was causing the lock to go over further than it would normally.  After a minor adjustment (yes I bent it  :D) the clip is still snug on the lockbar when the blade is closed, but there is a tiny gap when the blade is open. The whole action is a lot smoother now, and the bar goes over slightly less (about 50% over).

Smitty, do you carry yours using the pocket clip or do you get on well without it?

I am giving it a go without the pocket clip ATM, so have replaced the clip with the insert.  I have also swapped the screws around (again  ::)) so they match the insert.

This is how it looks now;
