Getting frustrated trying to see why this angle grinder won't work

Try using a hammer.  It may not fix it, but it does help with the frustration!

Did a continuity test and up till the two wires that separate to the field windings (cord and switch) are getting power. And the brushes seem okay but it still won't turn on.

Check the solder joints on each end of the stator. My old Milwaukee grinder had a tiny separation at one of these points. It had only about 3 hours of use before it pooped out. Resoldered and it works fine now. I did have to press the stator out before I could see the problem. I took the gear housing off, pulled out the rotor, and pushed it out from the back.
Getting it back in was a real treat. ::)

A little recycling
I bought these speakers second hand when I was a young apprentice for quite a lot of money, don't need them and can't even give them away (dang kids with their newfangled... )
So I cut them up and threw some paint at them,

To make sanding drums for knife making etc I've been glueing sandpaper to old hole cutters, works well but it's a pain to remove the old paper

I put two dowels in with a hammer, they lock in very well I'm a little worrIed that I might have to drill them out when I change the sand paper

I've got an eternal struggle, a knifemaker I follow on FB has the motto "Tool up or Die", I see the wisdom of these words, but if I use spare time to "tool up" there would be no time to use these tools......

I finally made a rack to hold my belts, that only took about a year to get around to doing.........making and hanging took about 1 hour and 30 minutes respectively.

Better lights bought 2, maybe 3 months ago and still at times I'm smurfing around with a headlight on

This  :D

Sadly the pegs don't all fit the slots (and it's not the pegs that are at fault  ::) )
I'm very happy with this so far, I might have to adjust a few of the pegs
It's now in test mode as I think it's a bit soon to be screwed to the wall above my computer desk

Ooh, that’s nice, it might be big enough you just have to adjust the ax's, you could double the storage size if you put the others upside down,
