My new gadget...
on: August 24, 2008, 01:08:37 PM
Yesterday we picked up a Wii, spare Wii-remote with Wii-play and spare nunchuku...

The first console I've owned since my Sega Genesis in college...

Be sure to always use the wrist lanyard. Since my kids got a Wii for Christmas there have been a number of Wii-remote projectile incidents. No major damage (yet) but the dog now ducks his head and slinks off to the other room when the Wii gets turned on. :ahhh

so far we have, no injuries yet, altho it seems it takes a while before you realize you don't need to throw your arm out of the socket to achieve the same results :P

I wonder if it'll see the same kind of mileage that the Genesis did?

:D

Doubt it, this one isn't likely to make it across the pond for my sister to use once I'm done with it...(NSTC vs PAL issues)

I am really keen to have a go on a Wii.  It looks like the "funest" console out there.
I'm back!!

it is fun... if you're looking for amazing 3d effects go with xbox360 or PS3... but Wii defo has the fun factor... even my wife who doesn't like computer games much is hooked on the Wii...
