Hm, the biggest problem with the Mike Horn Rangers has always been the price! It's an expensive "pocket knife" however you look at it. Even discounted it's in the 100 Euro range.
Going up in value by the minute!
A giant was on my wants list and still is. It makes sense they'd be harder to find now though, its not like Victorinox will make a delemont version. It would make a nice piece to put in a wall frame and display. I just dont know if I could part with $1000 for one.
I'm not sure how true this is but i've heard from a Victorinox Rep that they are still making the Giant under the Wenger name. I believe it has something to do with patents and making sure no other knife maker will be able to use the Wenger name on their multipurpose knives in the future.Again, not sure how true this is.
Don't start talking about Mike Horn Rangers, I recently turned down a good offer and don't need to start continue second guessing that decision.

I think the Mike Horn will be like Vics Oynx range - when they were available nobody wanted one, now you can't get one for love nor money.Quote from: ColoSwiss on December 06, 2015, 12:25:45 AMGoing up in value by the minute! Dammit, now I want a Giant... The best deal I saw on one was 750, I should have pounced back then.
There is a display one in a local shop near me, I may have to take a look. I wonder if I can convince the wife I need something so impractical.

You can cut all your potatoes at the same time! Can your wife even imagine how much time she will save?
