Convert the Crucial FAST from assisted blade to non assisted blade...??

I like the spring pliers and drivers more than the standard crucial, but here assisted blade are forbidden weapons...!

I don't have one in hand but I would say yes. You could remove the assisted spring. However since I don't have one I can not tell that the same spring is what keeps it closed.
