well today i found an broken piece on very old hand forged scythe,and i just went and forged ,annealed and tamered it into this traditional utility knife shape,its about 56-58 hrc hard.

Very nice, looks like a working mans blade. Someday (when the kids get older) I hope to take up smithing, it looks fun and rewarding...in other words Im jealous.
