It isn’t bad. No rust and it was well maintained. It had a thin layer of what looked like axle grease on the plier head and joint. I’m happy with this. Not quite sure if I’m going to use it or just display it.

The person I bought this from also had a first generation Sidekick for $25 and another PST for $20. The more I play with this, the more I remember why I stopped using it, not great ergonomics, however, this was the first tool I had and it worked well despite some of these issues. I’ll keep it for display.

The PST does show it's age some but as far as a daily user, they are still hard to beat just because how well they pocket and the tool selection is sp well thought out :tu: You can really tell how the company made it with this tool :salute:

Looks like a nice newer model PST and original sheath. I would say go for it as $50 isn't a bad price as long as the tools are in good shape.

I'm with Steve there.
Early PST2 had just Leathernan Tool stamped into the handles. If this is one I would guess it's from 1996 ish.  :like:
