I picked up my first PST a few weeks ago
it's a 1994 model with a snaped-off blade and a lot of surface rust, but hey it's mine and I only paid $10 for it.

Got the pictures,

This is some of the surface rust on the tools and some odd damage to the can/bottle opener:



Here is the snapped off blade, I might keep it that way and see if it can be taken through the TSA:


Here is a picture with just the pliers open, the pliers overall are in really good shape, the cutters aren't damaged, and can cut a zip tie well.


and here is a picture with all the tools closed:


So the plans for this tool include taking it apart and cleaning it out so the tools can be opened easier, I ordered the Loki-mobile wrenches so I don't have to mess up the fasteners, it's past its 25-year warranty anyways.
Might even try some mods. I don't know.
Do people start to build threads on their Leathermans here or is that just a car forum thing?
Anyway hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Congrats on the PST.

There is a whole sub-forum dedicated to mods: https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/board,16.0.html. You will find lots of info on the older tools and what is compatible between the different models. A SOG saw is a good replacement for the broken blade and it requires very little sanding. Pivot size and thickness are the same. I include a pic of the one I did, write-up in the Mod Squad sub-forum.
