Northern Tool and Equipment Haul
on: January 13, 2016, 03:16:40 AM

Paid a visit to NTE after a long time. Found these for a dollar a piece. I really don't need these but could not resist, especially the caliper pen. Thought it was cool.

I got the camo lantern/flash light from Khols for less than $5 soon after christmas. Beats my $30 Streamlight Seige lantern in brightness but not in features though.

The caliper pen I got is plastic. Wished they had one in metal. But... it was only a dollar. Amazon has similar ones for $30-$40 and they are made in Germany. Given the price I think they might be metal.

That's the problem with these threads: Somehow something we never before  considered useful or even knew could exists unexpectedly stands in front of our eyes , and suddenly, an overwhelming conviction of usefulness takes over us. Our senses and our peace of mind are captured by that unbelievingly so far unseen need until we create every single strategy we are capable of to convince ourselves not to buy it or, some times (or most of the times, who knows) to get it. And we keep reading and searching.
It's so fun.
