Wenger TravelCard?
on: January 24, 2016, 11:16:40 PM
Here's a Wenger product I've never heard of before.

http://www.amazon.com/Wenger-45150-TravelCard-Multitool/dp/B0036FDPEY/ref=sr_1_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1453673669&sr=1-1&keywords=wenger+travelcard

I remember reading that there was such a thing as a fake Wenger card, so I question there is such a thing like the TravelCard. But, I have also heard these were limited production items, made for the promotional imprint market.

If anyone here has one, are they any good?

I'm pretty sure that is fake. Tools don't even look like Wenger ones, while on the Victorinox SwissCard they look the same as on a knife. This doesen't make any sense.

I have one of these and i've never gone out of my way to verify of these were really wenger production models. Maybe some of the mto scholars can shed some light on this

No company with a reputation like Wenger's *wouldn't* brand their product.  It doesn't make sense.

Edit: that said, I am surprised that Victorinox doesn't imprint its shield or name into the plastic.  The only branding is the relatively impermanent ink logo.

They seem to have realised that. The Nailcare features the shield quite prominently as seen on the forums here (EDC by Monrogue) and on their site. I would dare guess it's coming for the other models in due time...

It looks like I was wrong. But, that tool still doesn't make sense to me.
