Two for Tuesday

For those of us the pair SAK's with other SAK's or MT's. Let's see your pairing of tools and if you want tell us why that combo works for you.
I'll start with my pre 85 Craftsman and Alox Bantom.

I sometimes pair these two when I think I might need a bigger blade.

I tend to pair an oh Soldier with a Hercules.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

A minimalist pairing I used to carry.
Alox Classic and Bantam.
Scissors, combo tool and blade (small and large) along with nail file.

Having a SAK on me mean having scissors. I have a few SAKs without that I really like but that means pairing them with one that does.
I really like my Manager best. The Executive is newish for me an i do like the size and thinness of it. My Classic with red light good but for the thickness I prefer my MiniChamp ( not pictured )

Combos Rule!
On my house keys, I have a Gerber Dime
On my car keys, I have a Victorinox Manager
In my wallet, I have a Classic and Squirt P4
In my glovebox, I have a BG Strata kit and CT41
.... this is before I even consider choosing the pocket carried combo for the day
Climber Small and KF4
MP426 and Byrd Tern
Sideclip and Original Outdoorsman
Or any other pairing I may choose from the items in my sig line

Pairing???
For many here, that's a major thought process given all the toys everybody has...
But it's a great subject.
To back up my typical EDC SAK, I generally don't carry a secondary SAK. My SAKs usually are of the Golfer/Compact family, though I do carry a Rambler/Manager mod or Cadet sometimes. These I will pair up most often with the Gerber Strata if I feel the need for a MUT.
On weekends, if I'm just running around, I'll carry a Super Tinker, Yeoman or Explorer. These I'll pair with a LM Juice S2 for light duty, or stay with the Strata for heavier duty.
When I'm sailing, it's whatever SAK I feel like in the pocket with an Ibberson rigging knive and a Gerber Mr. Pinchy on the belt.
Because I like toys, it's a subject I do think about...

Nice topic!
I was just thinking about some new pairings of tools last night.
I need scissors in my carry so typically any pairing will be to add scissors to a tool that doesn't have them. I also like to pair up so that I can use a screwdriver and pliers at the same time.

I always pair a Compact with my MT. Vic's 91 mm scissors works better for me.

Here's a combo I started carring lately. My Soldier and Deluxe Climber. Backside Phillips and cs for my micro sd. I like to carry a smaller SAK with my Soldier for when I may be in situation when the big knife may offend sheeple.

For the past three months, the tinker I saved from a antique/junk shop has been my edc pocket knife. It's teamed up with the classic I carry on my keyring in a leather pouch sheath. Between the two of them, they cover all the basis I need on a day to day use in my suburban life.
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.

Huntsman paired with ST 300 or Rebar. For the Skizzers. Why else? When I carry the Spirit it has everything, but I pair it with a good single blade knife because if I try to cut anything with the Spirit's butter knife blade people may laugh at me.
In this case it's a Myerchin T377P serrated rigging knife which is awesome because it only weighs about 3 and 1/2 ounces even with the marlin spike which I have used to help untie some badly knotted cordage.

I thought it was Tourist Tuesday
I'll be carrying a 1970s Tourist and a Classic stolen by the TSA and resold to me. The black stain on the Tourist scale has penetrated the Cellidor and can't be polished out. The Classic's scales were in real rough shape, but a 5 minute rub down with toothpaste restored the shine while leaving much of the pocket history.

I am new to the Two for Tuesday thread, yet my most frequent combination set is my EDC Vagabond and my SS Rebar.
