Rick does some great designs.   I really like the rescue knife he did with Gerber a few years ago.

I've never actually owned a Hinderer but I did have a ZT566 for awhile. And still regret getting rid of.

With the price of them going down so much in past months so many people can actually afford them now.

I always wanted one. Great news on the price drop. I may have to consider one again.

Why is the price dropping?

I've liked the design for a long time. The cutting performance, not a huge fan of

Flooding of the market causes prices to decrease. Now if you want to "pimp" it with steel flame accessories you better have some money in the bank.

Hey... nice to see you here, Ashley :)

I can´t say you anything about Hinderer, it is not my kind of knives I like to carry.

I have 4: 2 Gen 3 3" slicers (one flipper, one non flipper) and 2 Gen 4 3.5" (one spanto, one slicer). I've added the full Ti scale option to the 3.5" Slicer and it is my preferred Hinderer.

That being said, I think they are overpriced and under-functioning knives, more art pieces to me. The fact that I bought them is something I regret along with most of my other tacticool knife purchases of the last few years (recent realization of course too late to save me).

More supply and the demand isn't as ridiculous as it used to be. To be honest, I love Hinderers (never owned one though) I just don't think they're worth as much as they can go for in terms of materials.

I'm personally eyeing a ZT 0561.
