https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/may/21/sweden-distributes-be-prepared-for-war-cyber-terror-attack-leaflet-to-every-home

"The Swedish government has begun sending all 4.8m of the country’s households a public information leaflet telling the population, for the first time in more than half a century, what to do in the event of a war."

(Image removed from quote.)

Neutral Sweden, left wing Sweden, worried about all out war and (according to the article) the need to fight total war without surrender. Sweden warning of current subversive and enemy controlled propaganda. As a European, I'd be rather worried about this. Especially if my country was in NATO, was currently belligerent or in any other way more on the firing line than Sweden would be.  I don't know what it felt like to be in Europe in 1910 or 1935 but I'll bet it felt similar to today. The feeling of standing securely on shifting sands.

Verdict by media is hardly justice or proof. I'd wait for a case to be judged before I believe 'facts' presented by the media quoting anonymous sources.

The F-150 is not really a competitor, so no need to be as good as them  :)

I actually see, lately, a lot of the big companies coming out with electric vehicle for less money and a proper car manufacturer behind them, so it is getting interesting.

Yup, Tesla definitely upset the car market I think, and made the other manufacturers get off their smurf and start building.

Ofcourse they will not be able to deliver on time, deliver what they promise, save the world, produce a really environmentally friendly car etc, like Tesla did.. :)

Seems like the other manufacturers, with their more affordable EV's with good braking performance, have made Tesla get off their high horse and start building.

I don't know why folks buy into the Tesla hype, it's bizarre. Slick marketing?  ???

For maximum clarity:
I like Tesla, though I will probably never own a Tesla, because I think (you are welcome to argue otherwise ) that they are paradigm breaking and are forcing other manufacturers to move to electric cars to stay in business, which will lead to cheap electric cars that I will be able to own.
Also, they proved that electric cars can be practical AND high performance.

Electric cars, charged with power from the outlet.
At night, when people are in their beds...
So using nuclear energy instead of solar panels...

Hydrogen ftw.

Drive for 6 hours, refuel for 5min, keep going. 0 emission.
If Tesla achieves that with electrical cars, they'll earn my respect.

..and reliable, and competitive, and environmentally friendly.. Batteries, electricity production, recycling..

I think Electric is just  not going to properly work until electricity can be very/totally clean and easily available  - Hydrogen seem more promising for the future, whereas electric, which has been here for over 100 years has not been able to work on its own or nearly on its own  - needs fuel/resources etc no realistic clean electricity.

And regarding their "green" profile.
All electric is better for the environment.
Don't mind our huge amount of acid filled batteries though.
Batteries that also have to power the AC and our mighty fun Ipad sized touch screen. Drop those and get more mileage.
It's about the environment, right? Not comfort and prestige...
